Now, 17 years later, Monica Lewinsky is still trying to play down her scandalous affair with then-President Bill Clinton.

She is single, her line of handbags failed to catch on and, according to the National Enquirer, is living the life of a near recluse.

I remember at the beginning of this coming out it was reported that Monica was wearing a thong and pulled up her dress to show Clinton. She made the first move. Clinton, being a male, apparently just couldn’t resist. Kinda scary to think the president of the free world could be taken in like that.

Monica’s parents and their associates were big RATS and probably advised her never to come out and say anything about Clintoon. Therefore, she has to suffer in silence.

I feel sorry for her in a way. When you are 21 you can easily be star struck by a smooth, slick POS like Clinton who knows how to manipulate and con you. It was like the spider to the fly.

I don't think that is going to happen. From what we know of her life I think we can construct a solid idea of her politics. This is a woman who grew up rich, pampered and never having to do real work a day in her life. Because of that, she doesn't have to worry about making ends meet or living in reality. She probably buys all the liberal fantasies hook line and sinker.

To be fair, most of the commentary on these affairs involves pejorative references to Ms. Lewinsky. FR often talks about Bill Clinton or other politicians getting “Lewinskies” but why not about Monica Lewinsky or crazy liberal women getting “Clintons”? I mean, give the devil his due.

And if Monica Lewinsky really thought better of her involvement and repented of her own part in it, she could be a powerful spokeswoman against sexual abuse. God is a God of second chances.

I always found when the Lewinsky-Clinton affair became public, the attitudes of Monica's parents were also telling.

Her mother thought servicing Bill was great and she wished she could have done so. {Maybe some mother-daughter action for the Clintonian member?)

Likewise, Monica's dad (I don't remember if he was separated or divorced from her mother), was not offended the POTUS was taking advantage of his celebrity-struck daughter. Instead he thought giving Billy a BJ under his desk was just hunkey-dorey with him.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Lewinsky were disgusting adults. No wonder their daughter became as messed-up as she was.
