Well you actually do when your position is watered down not like other states. Governor of Texas is like the monarchy in England. Photo ops and hand shaking....oh and kissing babies.
He’s also been the Lt. Governor which is a quite powerful position in Texas government. He was the State Ag commissioner for two terms and a state representative, plus a farmer/rancher for 13 years before getting into politics.
He’s got the most real experience in GOVERNING than anyone in the race or not. 0bama’s failure has people longing for stability.
