Yet any politician I’ve heard who’s bold enough to speak about SS reform talks about a gradual change that wouldn’t affect those getting or close to getting benefits under the current arrangement.
It’s not the message, it’s the salesman.
Democrats have historically been better salesmen than Republicans.
Reagan was the exception. Let’s hope Perry is as well.
