Sarah’s voice is indeed unmelodious. I suppose it irrelevant to point out that Lincoln’ s voice was high-pitched and nasal. But as a detail, it is a voice that really carries. You could turn the microphone off and her voice would carry for a long way outdoors. And it does not weary the candidate. After the Lincoln-Douglas debates, Douglas voice was quite hoarse. His big baritone was well suited for the Senate, but not so much on the hustlings. Lincoln seemed unbothered.

It's substance and conviction that count the most. She has that and most of her opponents don't. As we saw in the 2008 election, and again in 2010, she is, because of her conviction, an orator like the Republican Party has not seen since Ronald Reagan who is capable of reaching and inspiring millions of people.

The media and her enemies and their supporters will probably attack the pitch of her voice, because they don't have a lot of substance and that's just they way politics as usual works.

People have to get past that. You are playing right into their hands if you don't support someone just because you think they are open to attacks based on irrelevant crticism.

To be sure they don’t like the substance. And to bring up Lincoln again, it is not well known that Lincoln’s speeches were taken down and by Horace Greeley’s reporter. Before publlishing them, Greeley redacted them, so what we read today is not what Lincoln said in detail. He was speaking extemporaneously, from notes. But it was substantially the same. And that captured Greeley;s attention: here was a diamond in the rough, and since he was opposed to Seward, he was looking for an alternate. So Lincoln was brought east to deliver his Coopersunion speech. His look and manner were awkward, and he had this stemwinding style that is quite different from the poses affected by the actor Raymond Massey on stage and in the movies. But he was on fire with his message and the audience was completely won over. Palin has the kind of fire that sets an orator apart. Rubio has the same thing, but a different style. So does Christie. I think she belongs in the big leagues, if they will just let her play.

Besides people nitpicking about her voice (which I hear as the sound of Freedom by the way!)...they also say “oh the media has damaged her too much..blah blah blah”. I had a friend of mine tell me this last weekend. She said she would vote for Sarah but not enough others would.

I said, so far the media has been able to lie and spin about her, but the debates will be live and unedited.

Your average uninformed voter, not familiar with Sarah like we are, might see her speak of her plan for the first time in a debate setting and she might just get through to them.

I think she speaks directly to the American heart, like Reagan did, bypassing the democrat controlled media.

Yesterday afternoon the most listened to radio show in Wisconsin, The Mark Belling Show, had Mark leading the show by reading Sarah’s response to Hoffa’s threats and her plan to get the good old boys like him and the corporate crony capitalism out of our country.

While he’s always said good things about her, he was on fire for her ideas and was very impressed with her.

He read the whole statement by Palin and the potential number of people who heard it, was very large. He broadcasts out of Milwaukee and the signal goes far and wide from there.

I think once those unfamiliar with her substance, and now only familiar with her appearance and the lies the media tells...once they hear her UNFILTERED by the MSM, the people cabable of thinking on their own will see she has the plan and fire to get us out of this mess.

End of Rant
Thanks for the time.....
