Yahoo has fired its chief executive officer Carol Bartz and named the companys chief financial officer Tim Morse as interim CEO.
I am very sad to tell you that Ive just been fired over the phone by Yahoos chairman of the board, Bartz said in an email reportedly sent to Yahoo employees. It has been my pleasure to work with all of you and I wish you only the best going forward."

Ohhh, how sad. The quicker the rest of these limo communist digital CEO’s bite the dust, the better.
Most people in her position would be fired in a similar fashion. This termination was related to her poor performance. Had nothing to do with her politics (as loathsome as it was)
Coulda been worse...Yahoos chairman of the board coulda fired her by tweet...
I am sure the replacement will be just as much of a butt kisser.
No, priceless is her email announcing he firing came from her iPad.

She is potty mouth and arrogant liberal, converted company into VIEW.
Good for Yahoo.
I couldn’t find any mention of Carol Bartz political affiliations or mishaps on wikipedia, neither for Indra Nooyi. Was Indra Nooyi the corporate executive that expressed that the U.S deserved 9/11? If so, that’s a real shame that she continued on and made Pepsi even stronger. I gave up Pepsi that day.
He could have fired her via text too. Equally hysterical IMO.
No mention of the acquisition of HuffPo. Was she responsible for that?
Frankly, AOL has been a lousy company from the very beginning. Their software was crummy, their techs were mostly incompetent, and they had little to offer in the way of content.
Let her collect unemployment for 99 weeks.
Bartz ran Yahoo! - not AOL
Should’ve fired her via Facebook
Indra Nooyi is democrat liberal.
Indra Nooyi is very close to Obama Admin , here is news from 2009
UPDATE: Politico’s Ben Smith uncovers more dinner attendees, among them incoming national security advisor Gen. James Jones, Gen. Scott Gration, and Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi.
