In this case, better done here in person, I think. He got cheered by the people in one fire interview I saw on TV. Being run out of my own home by one of the fires, I can appreciate what he did to show appreciation for the firefighters in person. They fought our fire like mad and stopped the fire just short of an acquaintance's wooden fence.

I was amazed about some firefighters fighting fires at night only to discover they were surrounded by rattlesnakes (post 137). Only in Texas.
