I have no idea what Carson City is like now, but in the 1970s I lived on Franktown Road, between Carson City and Reno- did my shopping in Carson City and it was a quiet town. I don’t remember any crime to speak of at the time and for sure not serious crime. I guess it only takes one nut to do something like this and it could happen anywhere.

Lots of Mexican gangs now, big meth problem. But this sounds like a relationship gone bad... real bad.

Carson’s still pretty quiet ... But as you say, it takes only one nutcase to rile up a town.

I graduated CC high class of 1986. Was a great place for a teenager to be back then. Virginia City to the East and Lake Tahoe to the West. Man o man..if I only knew how good i really had it.

CC cops have a tough reputation. I dont see them taking lightly to much gangs / drugs.
