Been to the grocery store, taken a look at the customers there, heard about the big Mosque being built in Reno?
We have plenty of local moslems, far more than I would prefer.
Various TWITTER reports are saying that the gunman used an AK-47.

He had an American passport and was driving his brother in law’s van.
The van has a National Guard sticker on the back window. Back windows of the van were shot out.
It was reported that he has an American passport. Also, a newspaper has produced a photo of him from a driver’s liscence.
Yes, I saw two lefty reporters assuring viewers that the ATF is on the job to nail that murdering gun! They probably are worried it is one of the guns their agents dealt.

Note there is still information concerning this was a boyfriend of an employee in the IHOP. Not able to go along with that being the reason this perp cut loose on the National Guard, plus the guy on the motorcycle had an Eagle with Colors across the front of the motorcycle. This perp had anger toward the U.S.A. Perp had a passport. Legal status unknown. Anyone found anything on the legal status of the perp? I have not.
- Perp - DOB July 22nd, 1979, lives in Carson City, has valid passport, not a military member and had no criminal history. He worked at a family business in South Lake Tahoe, on the California side. Family said he spent night in Carson City, did not notice anything unusual and that there was history of mental instability (no mention if he was on meds).
- Sheriff Furlong @ 3P Presser - 3 pronounced dead, 2 of the 3 dead were from National Guard, 1 was a civilian female. 8 other persons were identified as being victims, of those 8, 3 were with the National Guard.
- Authorities say gunman used an AK-47 assault rifle and found one empty 30-round magazine and two more still containing rounds on the ground. They are analyzing the weapon to determine whether it is automatic or semi-automatic weapon.
