One side’s clerics are looking for the 12th Imam any day while the other sides are talking about Ezekiel 39. I’d say things are going to come to a boil. And it could happen quite literally any day, or five years from now.

Could be that both sides are right here, which is what I suspect. Islam's 12th Madhi will appear (also know to us as "Anti-Christ") and Israel will see Eze. 38-39 come to pass. There's also that bit about Damascus becoming a desolate heap over in Isaiah 17 that people need to bear in mind. I don't know when it will start up, but I'd say you're right when you said it could be today or five years from now. The fuse is primed and it's a short fuse.

On a side note, the stuff in Dune pulled from islam is certainly percolating to the surface for me. It is the first place I read the word “jihad” and lets be frank, Maudib and Madhi are pretty darned close, and both prophetic “saviors” of a sort.

Very good point! Isaiah 17 describes the results (at least partially, for more see Eze 25, 37 and Jer 48, 49)of the Psalm 83 War that will take place BEFORE Eze. 38 war.
