No, she's not a worth candidate, for the reasons many of us have been pointing out from the get-go. It's nothing to do with "conservative credentials", it's all about having no track record of executive experience and leadership -- it's far too important of a job to take those qualities on hope and change faith.
Bachmann has performed exactly as I expected -- temporarily up at the top as the "flavor of the month" and as a placeholder for better qualified candidates. I'm not sold on Perry, but you can see what his entrance into the race did to Bachmann. Her "support" collapsed overnight and she'll be lucky to have enough money to even make it to Iowa; in other words, her previous showing proved that she was indeed a "placeholder" candidate.
Having no record whatsoever would make Bachmann by default a better pick than Perry, IMO. But she does have a record in office as one of the most stalwart conservatives on Capitol Hill.
