What a shock. The dumbest website on the internet Media Matters defended Teamster President Jimmy Hoffas profanity-laced threatening speech against conservatives today. Media Matters insisted that Hoffas remarks were taken out of context. Uh-huh.
And, here is the transcript:
We like a good fight. And you know what, they got a war and they got a war with us and theres only going to be one winner and its going to be the workers of Michigan and America. Were going to win that war. All the way. But it starts with your involvement. It starts with next November. We got a bunch of people there that dont want the president to succeed. And theyre called the tea party. The people that dont want him to do anything right and hes working hard for us. And president Obama is frustrated by whats going on. Well guess what. We got the vote. And the answer what we say is, we remember in November. We will beat the tea party and give this country back to workers and America. We can do it together. And we also gotta talk about jobs. I get so tired of these people who sit on these big corporations that send our jobs to Mexico. They send our jobs to China. And they have the audacity to say where are the jobs? Well I got news for you Its time to bring those jobs back to America and put America back to work. Thats what weve got to do.

They keep Beckel around as an inside joke.
NO real conservative could sit around talking to Bob for long. It’s like casting pearls of wisdom before a LITERAL swine.
I know people around here who think just like Bob. They’re always big labor union guys that repeat the same tired talking points and greedy class envy. I don’t waste much time trying to talk sense into them anymore.
Well gee that would be Freepers. So will Free Republic Nation be “taken out” on our feet or surrender on our knees?....bring it union boy.... As Rev Buffoon Sharpton babbled.”resist we much and then we much.....
“Sort of like when the Hutu’s heard “Cut the tall trees” on the radio and began slaughtering the Tutsis?”
Except without the code words. Hoffa said we’re gonna take these sons of bitches out. We all know what that means, but hope nobody takes him literally.
I suppose they want at least one liberal on the show for "balance". That makes some sense.
Beckel is bad, but Alan Colmes would be a whole lot worse.
Changing tagline
Media Matters? ‘Nuff said.
After the elections of 1936 in Spain, the Popular Front (composed of Bolsheviks, socialists, atheists and minorities) outlawed their opposition; sounds like the Bolsheviks are trying to do the same here (though their base has a lot less to fight for, being suppressed by their own “president”). God and General Franco ground these creatures into the dust in 3 years; I hope it takes less time to deal with the same forces at work 75 years later.
Don’t forget that in 2000, Beckel urged the Bush electors to violate their oaths and vote for Gore. No one ever calls him on that.
As for Hoffa, his speech was just another Marxist class warfare rant. He is asking Obama to come to Michigan and see what they have done?? Last I heard, Detroit is a wasteland.
Or is it just trash talk from someone who can’t get a hole dug without 10 extras leaning on shovels waiting for the next coffee break?
The thing that I hate most is the way he bloviates and interrupts the others. And none of them take him on!
Sean calls him “my good friend Bob”. ..okay, maybe he’s a “nice” guy off the set but his views are ridiculous and Rupert needs to know that the listeners aren’t listening to the show because he is there.
Hook anyone?
“blackmailed by any whores?”
Is there a story here o.?
Not only have I seen that with my own eyes in a unionized department of a former employer, but also I was similarly berated by permanent employees when I was temping at another company for a woman who was on leave.
Check Wikipedia. Beckel was blackmailed by a prostitute, at which time he started claiming to be “born again”, etc. Also, Beckel brags about being a football player, when he was actually a cheerleader. yesterday he was bragging about beating up some guy, and nobody called him on it. He’s only on “The Five” as comic relief, but he ruins the show for me. The only worse choice would be Alan Colmes, but I don’t think the other panelists would put up with his lies and interruptions.
