Republican ad guru Fred Davis has left Jon Huntsman's presidential campaign to join an independent expenditure group that was established recently to support the former Utah governor's presidential bid through unrestricted campaign donations, according to the group's website. Best known for producing John McCains 2008 Celebrity TV spot -- which juxtaposed images of then-Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama with Britney Spears and Paris Hilton -- Davis earlier this year created a series of unorthodox web videos that sought to introduce Huntsman to the nation before the GOP White House contender officially launched his presidential bid. According to the website set up by the pro-Huntsman Our Destiny PAC, Davis resigned from the candidate's campaign on July 27 and will now act as an important part of the PACs team. Davis move appears designed to provide him and his team with a larger budget to create and distribute pro-Huntsman ads using the unlimited donations that a 2010 Supreme Court ruling allowed "super PACs" to accept. The two current front-runners for the GOP nomination -- former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Texas Gov. Rick Perry -- each has his own super PAC, which is staffed by former aides. Though the campaigns themselves are barred legally from coordinating with the independent groups, the super PACs will likely provide the candidates with vehicles to launch attacks against their chief rivals, while nominally running more positive campaigns. A statement on the pro-Huntsman PACs website reads, in part, Ron Jacobs, the PACs legal counsel, explained that with the changing legal landscape that allows citizens to participate in the process through independent expenditure committees, the PAC is an important vehicle for people to support Governor Huntsmans election.

You know how much of an "ad guru" this guy is?
HERE, take a look at what this "ad guru" did to Christine O'Donnell's campaign.
Huntsman? Is he running for something?
guru = hit man. If Huntsman can’t win (and he can’t) at least he can take everyone else down with him.
Huntsman? Is he running for something?
Huntsman cannot get the nomination. Don’t know why he doesn’t see that. He should just call it a day.
My point of this article is to expose FRED DAVIS as a Republican “ad guru”!
Fred Davis is the guy pushing Romney/Perry.
Huntsman is another Rovian puppet for Romney.
...Plus the fact that he was “RECOMMENDED” by the Republican Senatorial Committee to COD campaign, and lo and behold, now we find him FRED DAVIS jumping into Huntsman territory. Keep an eye on this Fred Davis, he’s no friend of real conservatives.
Fred Davis, ad guru, call him crazy too.
Not a very good one!
If this jerk gets more than one vote (his own) I’ll eat my hat!
By the way, I AM Doc Savage, the Bronze Titan. No other may hold my title!
Huntsman is like a zit. Eventually he’ll go away.
Fred Davis. Fred Davis.
Give me a day or so and I’ll figure out who this nobody is.
Give me a day or so and Ill figure out who this nobody is.
I dunno, hiring a private detective to run down this sorta thing could get expensive.
I can see the add now: “ John Huntsman, a man who is willing to stand up to Republicans and those racist Tea Partyers and oh yeah, sorta campaign against Obama when he has the spare time.”
Ok 'Doc'!
By the way, in case you're interested in knowing, here is the great patriot - the original 'Bronze Titan".
