Liberals confuse intellectualism with ability. The marketplace does not. That's why liberals hate markets.
When did we start going to football games to hear political nonsense.
Personally, I’ve never been that impressed with “smart” people or “intellectuals.” Neither were Eric Hoffer, Paul Johnson and Thomas Sowell. Their contempt for “intellectuals” was boundless.
You have the nicest pictures of Rick Perry.
If only a single, long-term conservative position
was associated with each of them,
then using the term RINO with him
would have been like oil and water.
The “youth” supported Obama in 2008. Their wisdom is non-existent.
Revenge is a dish best served over the trampled bodies of the opposing team, i.e. Rice... /g
Nice pitchers.
Now—iffen Ricardo Pherry only had some conservitive positions on stuff..............
I’m not looking for a candidate smart enough to run the country. I am looking for one wise enough to know it can’t be done. A President’s legitimate job is not running the country, that is, you, me and the rest, but just running the executive branch of the federal government.
I personally don’t have a problem with the fact that Perry attended A&M. I prefer that to an Ivy League pedigree. I do have some reservations about him only managing a 2.0 GPA there. We need people in office literate enough to see through the Ivory Tower smokescreens on things like the economy, monetary policy, and trade, and sharp enough to defend them in concrete terms rather than platitudes, as well as make the case to the public.
We need A&M’s best and brightest, not its’ pre-Vet washouts. This is just one of many openings the MSM can use to take the focus off of Obama’s record and make the election about Perry’s record (and tangentially GWB’s) instead.
