When I lived in New Hampshire I used to see the UPS truck drop off packages at the post office so the mail carriers could take care of the final delivery. It must have been cheaper for UPS to pay the USPS to do it than to do it themselves. I doubt that is just unique to my one area.
Ditto here. UPS stops every day. Fed ex brings it in too. We used to get DHL.
It’s not. UPS does that here in MA.
That is the “last mile” delivery program. It seems to be catching on nationwide. It’s a good arrangement. Fedex and UPS save time and fuel, and USPS makes a little money delivering it to a place that they drive by anyway.
