Bush’s FY09 continuing resolution lasted until April of 2009.

The only one GWB signed continued the funding of emergency relief, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Homeland Security.

All the other continuing resolutions and the omnibus bill were signed by Obama.

Status of Appropriations Legislation for Fiscal Year 2009

The TARP program nearly paid for itself, adding less than 50 billion to the deficit, and most of that, Obama gave to GM and Chrysler.

Your basic facts are wrong, the huge increases in the 2009 budget were the responsibility of the Democrats alone.

Now now, no fair bringing in facts to a great delusional “conservative” rant! Fantasyland is so much more conducive to some FReepers feeling morally superior.

Facts are always inconvenient things - to liberals. We’ll see if Montana dude will admit that he’s wrong about FY2009...

Your post is obviously wrong. Thanks for the link though. It contained public law 110-329. Let me paste the first sentence of the summary so you can be clear when you apologize to me.

"A House Appropriations committee print presents the final legislative text and explanatory statement. Division A provides continuing appropriations for all agencies and activities that would be covered by the regular fiscal year 2009 appropriations bills, until enactment of the applicable regular appropriations bill or until March 6, 2009, whichever occurs first."

Everyone makes mistakes. Even me. Not this time though.
