A friend of mine who grew-up in South America, recently had to go to the emergency room. Before they would even touch her they made her fill out the forms, produce an insurance card and even demanded PAYMENT before they would even treat her (she did get them to agree to billing her the $50 copay).

As she speaks Spanish like a native and no hint of an accent with her English, I told her she should have screwed with them and whined and carry-on in Spanish the whole time.

Not to worry. A few years from now when socialistic ObamaCare really kicks in there won’t be ANY forms that ask such “profiling” questions about being able to pay. Of course, most hospitals will have closed and most surgeons and emergency care physicians will be in other specialties or even professions.
