Report: 'Clinton Adviser Greenberg is Behind Israeli Protests'
Arutz Sheva ^ | 4/9/11 | Gil Ronen

Posted on 09/03/2011 3:14:27 PM PDT by Eleutheria5

The protesters demand "social justice" and a more equitable economy but their exact demands are not clear.

According to an investigative report by Maariv's Kalman Libeskind, the protests were engineered by a group of media strategists who are directed by prominent Democratic strategist Stanley Greenberg, a former adviser to Bill Clinton, John Kerry and others. Greenberg directed the strategists to create a protest that was not led by one specific group, in order to create social ferment. An unnamed left-wing leader would eventually step into this ferment and take the reins, Greenberg predicted. The Israeli strategists reportedly include Boaz Gaon, Moshe Gaon and Eldad Yaniv, who worked in Ehud Barak's successful race for Prime Minister in 1999, also in cooperation with Greenberg.

Press reports at around 10:00 p.m. Saturday evening estimated the total number of protesters at anywhere between 100,000 and 400,000. This would be the rough equivalent of the number of people represented by three to thirteen seats in the Knesset. The protesters are mostly secular people and the participation of nationalists in the summer-long protest wave has gradually lessened, as details emerge of left-wing involvement in their organization. In Jerusalem, Channel 2 reporter Dafna Liel said most of the protesters are secular people. Liel's mother, Rachel Liel, is Director of the New Israel Fund, which has assisted the protests.

Israel's central television and internet news outlets provided live superlative-studded coverage of the protests, as they have throughout the summer. Central Channel 2 political commentator Amnon Abramovich said that the protest is against policies that favor hareidis and settlers.

I believe Mossad needs to load up on drone technology and start taking out some enemies same as we do. I'm sure there
will be a wailing and gnashing of teeth once the Hellfire's start hitting the USC Berkeley campus but that's war.
Wasn't Pakistan ostensibly an ally the whole time we've
been smoking terrorists on their territory?

Why not just send in the Marines? Then they can severely restrict Jewish immigration regardless of rising anti-Semitism elsewhere, and favor Arab immigration, and hang or transport to far off prisons any Jew who dares resist. That worked great in 1939 for the British.

The “soft” touch doesn’t seem to be getting any traction:

No surprise. I remember when James Carville went to Israel to help run the campaign of the lefty Ehud Barak and the liberals. Late ‘90s, I believe. In fact, Carville did work for Greenberg’s “consulting” firm back in the early 2000s.

Anyway, I’m pretty sure this Democrat-fueled provocateur activity in Israel is payback for Netanyahu embarrassing our scumbag “community organizer” over his “1967 borders” gaffe. This kind of payback is “the Chicago way”... just ask Boeing or Gibson Guitars.

Count on it. Clintons did the same thing when they sent Carville on over, so it’s apparently the Arkansas way, too. Maybe it’s the Democrat way. Imperialism by consultant.

Do I smell Leftist stink emitting from the kitchen? Do I hear howling, and gnashing of teeth from the Leftist Pack as they circle Netanyahu for the attack?

I’m certain in the Leftist World order of this day there just might be that possibility.

“I wonder how many AMERICAN JEWS Are behind this Fascist action?”

If past American history is any indicator, most American Jews are liberal Democraps, and will again vote for socialism.

A case can be made that such fools have not yet had enough of the socialism which made bars of soap out of their immediate ancestral families.

George Soros gets federal subsidies for interfering in other countries political systems. And he has the nerve to call it "social justice"?!

The fact is that there is no such thing as "social justice." Leftists of all nationalities instinctively go ga-ga when they hear that phrase, so that's why it's the thing they are protesting about in Israel now. But ask them to define what "social justice" is and you'll get more hemming and hawing than answers.

While secular Jews here in America continue to pile their votes for the FDR party.
You mustn't remind remind the educated drones that the National Recovery Act banned kosher butchering, that FDR administration refused to even fill quotas to allow Jews to leave Europe, that it refused a Cuban idea to have refugee camps in Cuba, or that it never considered any concentration camps, even those making weapons, legitimate targets. They're heads will explode.

You hit the nail on the head with your "Dear America" letter in post #1, Eleutheria5.

The Clintonistas already undermined the first Netanyahu regime in Israel back in the 1990s when they played a significant role in defeating him with their lapdog Ehud Barak. Now, still having a grudge against Netanyahu and possibly working had in glove with the Obama administration, they are working in Israel to undermine Netanyahu's government again (ironically, though, Barak is part of the current government).

Now I understand what this "social justice" protest in Israel is all about. The term "social justice" means nothing in particular, but only serves to get the left in excitation mode.

I'm glad that the Israeli media is pointing this out this malignant foreign influence to the Israeli people this time around.

You are correct to point out that Franklin D. Roosevelt could legitimately be said to have been antisemitic.

One thing you could have added to your list of Roosevelt's acts against Jews was his participation in the 1920s as a Harvard alumnus in setting notorious admission quotas at his alma mater.

In all fairness though, the National Recovery Act did not ban kosher butchering. The NRA was an obnoxious and much ballyhooed ploy by the federal government to fix prices and wages on much of the private economy, and was rightfully declared unconstitutional by the SCOTUS in a case brought by the Schecter Brothers, who happened to be kosher poultry butchers. But that case, IIRC, did not hinge on the government's interference with the religious rite of making the meat kosher, rather the government's heavy-handed interference with the right of the butcher to contract with his customers.

Please see rmlew's post #36 and my post #39 regarding Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Jews of the US and Europe.

Fighting Nazis? Yes, he did that, but remember it was Germany who declared war on the US before the US declared war on Germany. Until the immediate aftermath of Pearl Harbor, the US maintained diplomatic relations with Nazi Germany.
