Look... I think we know that some gay folks serve.
Why make an issue of it? You aren’t supposed to be BANGING any particular drum... you are a soldier.
Then I SPOKE with an Army soldier who is absolutely GORGEOUS... I mean .. drop dead model gorgeous and straight.
And he told me that there were gay male soldiers who made an issue of their sexuality and made an issue of making straight male soldiers uncomfortable for giggles.

It’s totally unacceptable for a straight male soldier to come back from a patrol and have an out gay soldier SLEEPING in his bed snuggling his pillow ... to WAKE that gay soldier up and say, “What are you doing?” And have the other soldier say, “I wanted to smell your smell while I slept.”
And IT’S HAPPENING.
Next thing you know, the “married” couples will be allowed to live in family housing (refusal would be - gasp - discrimination).
It won’t be a pillow he’ll be snuggling... it’ll be the neighbor’s dependent family members (the perv will know which parents are on deployment). Teens, 3 YOs, whatever attracts ‘em... and the normal familes will be expected to just shut up and ignore the weirdos next door.
You think these freaks will respect the often less-than-soundproof walls between housing units?
Maybe the guy you talked to had an incident, but it’s not a common occurrence right now. I’ve never heard of anything like that happen before. I knew a few kids who were obviously gay (cooks), but they had so much baggage, eventually they disappeared (one booted out, another AWOL). This magazine will fizzle out since no one is going to purchase it.
Does this happen often or just occasionally?
