The minute she announces I am going on her Presidential campaign website and donating a thousand dollars, and signing up to have her campaign debit $100 a month thereafter.
My bet is that within a month of the start of her candidacy, she will have more money than the RNC.

She may or may not win the Republican nomination, but if she's running it is on a straight up Populist platform. This was a speech not one sitting governor, senator, congressman, or serial past occupant of some government office could credibly deliver.
If one were to poll the popularity of the professional political class in general (elected or civil service and of whatever party) the result would be half or less of whatever percentage of the population itself is in government employment. And any left over hate the second party in her target box, big capital. In other words, this speech was a declaration of war against the two most most despised groups in America. That is awfully shrewd target selection for a "Backwoods Barbie".
It could be considered a "high risk" strategy if all one knows is working on the public's dime and you think losing an election is a "risk". But I don't think she sees the world that way. And it shows that Mrs. Palin, assuming she does run, is going to stand out like Snow White on a stage with seven (or however many) dwarfs on every debate stage she occupies from now till November of next year.

"My bet is that within a month of the start of her candidacy, she will have more money than the RNC." I really believe you right. I can't do the $1,000 but I will donate $20.12/week through the campaign. To me, Sarah Palin is a solid investment.
Run Sarah, RUN!!
