Why would they display it in the rain? It was pouring most of the day until just before Palin spoke.
I saw a photo of a guy standing in the pouring rain holding one [before the rally actually started]. Everyone around him was sitting under umbrellas. That is all you could see: umbrella tops, a guy in a hooded slicker holding the Gadsden, and pouring rain.
Gadsen flags were everywhere. Watch Sarah work the rope line. They may not have been on stage, but the crowd was TEA PARTY
