The Hill Fire in Cajon Pass has resulted in a closure of all southbound lanes of I-15 at Hwy 395. All but one lane of northbound I-15 is open with CHP escorts but may close periodically due smoke and burning operations. Motorists are advised to avoid Cajon Pass as traffic will be heavy throughout the night. Structures are threatened in the Oak Hills Area. Mandatory evacuations are in place south of Joshua, east of Baldy Mesa Ave., and west of I-15.
Hesperia is at the top of the pass not at the base which would be devore
