It's interesting that the most Liberal Governor in America, Moonbeam Brown supports & is ready to sign into law the very same Gardasil policy Rick Perry was all for.
That is not an unfair argument even if it’s wildly disproportionate.
I would say, Governors make many bad decisions on their states immunization schedules, and the argument is far more nuanced than you are examining.
Many states mandate Hep B. for infants. Does that make them bad? It makes them wrong to be sure. But the AMA has a herd mentality. And they are in the ears.
Did Perry move in contravention to the AMA?

Was it wise clearly not.
