NJDC asked to call out Obama Administration's omission of Israel from list of terror victims

Dear Mr. Harris,

The National Jewish Democratic Council has espoused Barack Obama’s purported commitment to the security of Israel (e.g. “Israel Protecting Ashdod with Obama Administration-Funded Iron Dome Battery”). The Zionist Organization of America expressed outrage today, however, that Mr. Obama omitted Israel from a list of nations that are being victimized by terroristic violence.

ZOA cites in turn “White House Issues Guides on Sept. 11 Observances” which quotes the Obama administration as follows:

“As we commemorate the citizens of over 90 countries who perished in the 9/11 attacks, we honor all victims of terrorism, in every nation around the world,” the overseas guidelines state. “We honor and celebrate the resilience of individuals, families, and communities on every continent, whether in New York or Nairobi, Bali or Belfast, Mumbai or Manila, or Lahore or London.”

Note that, despite the most recent litany of mindless terroristic violence against Israel including rockets that had to be intercepted by the Iron Dome system that NJDC mentioned, Israel is not on the list. ZOA added further in its press release that this is not the first time that Mr. Obama has omitted Israel from a list of terror victims.

This is not the first time that President Barack Obama has omitted mention of Israel as a target of terrorist groups: “When running for President, then-Senator Obama said in his Berlin speech, “we can join in a new and global partnership to dismantle the networks that have struck in Madrid and Amman; in London and Bali; in Washington and New York” (‘Obama Speech Transcript: Remarks of Senator Barack Obama (as prepared for delivery) “A World that Stands as One,” Berlin, Germany, July 24, 2008).”

There is a simple explanation for this. Mr. Obama obviouly doesn't consider attacks against Israel and Israelis to be acts of terrorism.

If Obama made every Jew in America wear a star of David, made them all live walled up in ghettos, and started arresting them and confiscating their assets, IMHO, many of them would still support Obama. Most of Obama’s supporters would still support him. Universities would still support him. Teachers all over the country would still support him. Wealthy liberals would still support him.

They would all make excuses for him. And insist that Christians and the Tea Party were the real terrorists.

Some people just don’t learn, they just refuse to say they were wrong. Even as they are led away to their own death, they still refuse to acknowledge who is killing them.

IMHO, it’s best sometimes to take a break from trying to convince people. Let them stew a while, feel some pain. Let them think about the difference between their own opinions and reality for a while. Then they sometimes see the light. Everyone has a right to self-defense. IMHO, it’s important to remember that everyone also has a responsibility of self-defense.

When they come asking for help, they’re more convinced at that point. They won’t argue with you about whether or not something needs to be done, they’ll work together with you on coming up with a plan and executing it. A wise man once said some people need a shovel full of manure to hit them in the face before they admit that there is such a thing as manure and it stinks.

You should insert the word (pardon me) “LIBERAL” (forgive me) PRIOR to the word JEW. There are thousands upon thousands of us who are as deeply disgusted at what we see in this blessed country..the country that gave us..Life itself.
Personally I believe that the poem at the base of the Statue of Liberty was meant personally for ME, through grandparents, parents, and through me to grandchildren.
It is the Liberal, those who lay claim to the intellect, the culture, and the purity of thought who are the ones who daily demonstrate their own stupidity. I will not use the word “ignorant” because he who is at the moment “ignorant” can see and gain knowledge.
I do use STUPIDITY to describe those liberal Jews who do indeed “know” but stubbornly refuse to SEE.

You should insert “Servile” prior to “Jew,” as the founding fathers (and Libertarians) were/are genuine Liberals. Obama’s supporters are Serviles and not Liberals.

You’re not allowed to say Israel is a victim of terrorism, in a public speech - just isn’t done. Just like if you’re a Jew born in Jerusalem, you’re not allowed to be classified as Israeli; or DHS will not allow the term “islamic fundamentalism” to be uttered or written.
