I didn’t read the linked article, so I am only responding to your post.

I did watch that video, but I didn’t notice that part. It was very well made and, as in all such vids, you know they shot HOURS of film. One has to assume every single thing that makes it into the final product is there on purpose. I mean, I’m sure Palin posed with scores of cute kids, etc.

I think if Palin endorses Perry he is a lock to win the nom.

Now, off topic of politics, but related to the concept of cutting a short video out of much film: how is it possible that the ad for the new Sarah Jessica Parker movie is so awful? It has Parker, Pierce Brosnan and Kelsey Grammer in it, it’s got to be at least 90 minutes long, and they could not cut a 30 second ad that makes it look anything other than dreadful. Like Ishtar level bad.
