I generally agree with everything you said Smarty but I think the endorsement of Rick Perry will come sooner rather than later.
If she does that and Perry becomes president she WILL be, at the very least, appointed to an important ambassadorship.
Sara Palin is going to be around for a long time, thankfully.
She will be part of the next Conservative Presidential Administration. She will be groomed so to speak, so that her natural abilities may be cultivated and showcased.
Any Conservative foolish enough to turn their back on Palin, almost doesn’t belong in the WH.
That said, she will be ‘ready’ once Perry (I think) leaves office after 8 years as President
