President Barack Obama’s uncle, facing deportation for being in the country illegally, will not be treated differently than anyone else under U.S. laws, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told CNSNews.com on Thursday.
“I would refer you to ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] and DHS [Department of Homeland Security]. It will be handled like any other immigration case,” Carney said.
CNSNews.com also asked, “Was the president aware that his uncle was in the United States as an undocumented immigrant?” But before the question was completely asked, Carney interjected, saying President Obama “was made aware of this issue when I walked into his office and, among other subjects, mentioned it to him and he was completely unaware.”
Carney apparently was speaking in reference to when the president first learned of his uncle's arrest. Carney did not say whether the president knew his uncle was in the United States illegally.

I have some relatives that refer to all the male children in the family as “my boys”.
What good is it having your uncle as president if you aren’t gonna get special treatment???
So who is paying for his attorney? The same attorney who got a federal judge to reverse Aunt Zipputti’s deportation order she also failed to comply with?

Obama’s aunt and uncle are illegal aliens. What does that make Obama? To me this is proof that Obama is constitutionally unqualified to President of the United States of America and indeed might himself be illegally in the country. The Obama presidency will go down in history as the greatest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people by the communist Democrat Party. All actions done by and legislation signed by Obama in my opinion are illegal and should be ignored by the citizens of America.

Someone with complicated family issues - multiple wives, estranged father, mother who send child to live with grandparents, etc. I guess.
So Uncle Omar will get the same review and release that any other illegal gets.
I'm pretty sure that DUI, without an accident or actual injuries, isn't bad enough to warrant deportation under current policies.
The policy that allowed Omar to disappear is "voluntary departure" --a security-undermining mechanism that allows illegal alien border-jumpers and visa-overstayers to simply deport themselves after going through the federal immigration court system.
Omar lost his first case to stay in the country in 1989; he lost a second bid with the Board of Immigration Appeals in 1992
Omar simply thumbed his nose at the law again and treated his entry into America as an entitlement instead of a privilege.
Omar will now appeal any deportation proceedings a third time with the help of the same Ohio law firm that represented his illegal alien deportation fugitive sister, Zeituni Onyango. Aunt Zeituni arrived in the U.S. in 2000 on a temporary visa.
Interesting the way that the WH is playing hands off on this. Regardless of whether he is illegal or not, if it was my uncle, and even though i was president, i would state that it was my intent to speak with him and determine his status. As for being illegal, let the chips fall where they may. Its like Obama doesn’t care because it is a political hot potato. Carney is such a sniveling idiot, i wish he would just go away.
