TGO was polite and I was not impressed by the candidate. I’ve read enough about him and I know where he’s coming from. It’s way too early to even think about settling for a lesser candidate with too many outstanding problems. Just think if he were allowed to sail to the nomination? He wouldn’t be beholden to the Tea Party or to conservatives at all. Sarah Palin MUST RUN! We have to have a true Tea Party challenger.

The last thing we need is a 27 year career politician in DC who would fit right in with the other career, fossil incumbents. I think we’ve had our fill of all that reaching across the aisle crap for our life times, and this guy is a former democrat to boot!

(snip)

In her RNC speech exactly three years ago tomorrow, Governor Palin predicted that Obama’s policies, in enacted, would have the precise effect they’ve had:

…Government is too big … he wants to grow it.

Congress spends too much … he promises more.

Taxes are too high … he wants to raise them. His tax increases are the fine print in his economic plan, and let me be specific.

The Democratic nominee for president supports plans to raise income taxes … raise payroll taxes … raise investment income taxes … raise the death tax … raise business taxes … and increase the tax burden on the American people by hundreds of billions of dollars. My sister Heather and her husband have just built a service station that’s now opened for business — like millions of others who run small businesses.

How are they going to be any better off if taxes go up? Or maybe you’re trying to keep your job at a plant in Michigan or Ohio … or create jobs with clean coal from Pennsylvania or West Virginia … or keep a small farm in the family right here in Minnesota.

How are you going to be better off if our opponent adds a massive tax burden to the American economy?
