Linemen spend much of their offseason lifting weights to try and build up as much strength as possible. It's part and parcel of the identity of playing along football's front line. Still, three members of the Forest Park (Ind.) High offensive line took those feats of strength a bit further on Saturday, when they lifted and flipped an overturned, burning pickup truck to save a pregnant woman who was trapped inside.

Real Americans.
Ah- something nice about pro players. No enhancement drugs, no nothing- just a great thing they were able AND willing to do.
"three members of the Forest Park (Ind.) High offensive line" :-p
They got joined by a lady in military uniform and a fellow in a BACK BRACE — which wasn’t going to let that stop him from helping. Then one two three flip, with a burning truck. Awesome, especially when you consider there are some things even firefighters won’t do.
I had a car catch fire in Indiana once. Fortunately it did not need to be flipped. By the time the fire truck came it was toast. But the kindest couple (and their kids, including one boy dressed in camos who looked proud to be American) stopped by to take me to a hotel. The guy was apparently not well to do — one of his work boots was held together by duct tape. I insisted he at least take some money to get new boots.
Wow! Great job for them—real heroes. I hope they get some formal recognition.
It gives me hope for the next generation. I’m proud of them for stepping up and doing what needed to be done.
Indiana Lineman; Thinking he was searching the sun for another overload.
Yep- pardon the gray haired granny- I long ago lost interest in most sports- but these fellows are great. Their team affiliation should be mentioned.
Actually many long years ago three passers by lifted my parents car off my father with just adrenalin and muscle after a roll over. I lived in Idaho and this happened near Albuquerque- I never knew who they were but I sure remember what they did.
