I am not convinced Solyndra itself did anything wrong. Unless some sweetheart deal with a politician was involved, looks like they took the money and did with it what they promised to do.
Whatever bureaucrat opted to bet on Solyndra knowing that far cheaper foreign firms (especially China) would come in, vastly undercut them, and eat their lunch, leaving the taxpayer stuck with another worthless investment — he or she should (figuratively) walk the plank.

The money just comes back around to Obama in Campaign money. Then after leaving then presidency in speaking fee's and book deals. Also insider trading for future government kickbacks.
