In one of the most disturbing youth sports incidents in recent years, coaches of a Sarasota, Florida youth football team instigated a brawl with a referee which eventually led to both the coaching staff and a player violently attacking the referee in question during a massive brawl which embroiled both teams.
As reported by Sarasota Patch, quickly followed by a variety of Tampa Bay news outlets, details of the incident were first gleaned from an amateur video ofa game involving the Sarasota Gators and North Port Huskies on Saturday. The video in question was eventually turned over to the Sarasota Sheriff's office, which has since opened up a full criminal investigation into the proceedings from the game. While it's unknown whether charges will be filed against the coaches and player who attacked the referee, battery against a game official is classified as a felony in the state of Florida.

Animals have no place among us!
god, what are we turning into?
No civility, no sportsmanship, no intelligence. Just “animals” without clue as to how to play football.

Future NFL players no doubt...
I was raised to respect people of all colors. I was told through the years that we’re all the same inside even though we may look different on the outside.
You know what I’ve learned in the past few years? Every single time something like this happens - and it’s been happening increasingly - I just think what I was told as a kid is a big steaming pile of bullshit. I want to believe that we’re all the same, but as each passing week brings stories of black people acting like animals I...well, you get the idea.
The sad thing is there are hundreds of thousands more just like me. What am I supposed to believe? What I’ve been taught or what I see unfolding before my eyes?
This happened in Michigan. The parents took their 7 year old to beat up another 7 year old and they attacked the elderly crossing guard who tried to break up the fight:

To be THE white referee at a Florida black youth football league game is up there with Pamplona or BASE jumping.
Didn't this silly cracker know that this is where NFL players come from?
They looked to me like Swedes.
From the vid on Fox sure looked like holder’s people, no surprise and very historical.
Back in the day of “separate but equal”, we used to go watch the holder’s people high school football games and every one was just the same as this one. Helmets off used as clubs, coaches, fans and both teams out on the field NOT playing football, only thing missing were knives and guns.
I’m right there with you flint. My entire life (well teenage on up) I was taught the same thing. Everyone is the same on the inside etc etc...and I basically carried that thought until 11/04/2008. I absolutely do not feel or believe that way any longer. Not when witnessing the events that are taking place.
Now..I’m ready to fly the bars and stars in my front yard (although that flag was a symbolism of the states rebelling and NOT racism) simply because of the implied meaning.
I am sick of all of it. We have the liberals to thank for this crap.
