You’re tuning into a space cadet here.
You’re comparing one guy who votes to maintain the status quo during a fight to the finish, with a guy who was governor and did stuff he had no business doing.
It’s not the same thing at all.

FDR was president, and we were in the middle of a World War. Check your history - FDR was elected in 1932, almost 10 years before we entered WW2. Reagan voted for FDR at least 3 times before we entered the war.

Likewise, Perry needs to soften the "Cowboy" superficial package that works great in Texas but not in other regions of the country.If he really is 'cowboy', he wouldn't, even if he could.

I pointed out that, as Reagan himself readily admitted, he voted for FDR 4 times and supported the New Deal, even as President in 1982. Are you really trying to claim that Reagan would have voted for a conservative Republican in 1932? And somehow, you get from that that I am a "Hoover guy"? Your "logic" leaves a lot to be desired...
