U.S. bears blame for Mexico drug violence
Chicago Sun-Times ^ | 8/31/11 | Alejandro Escalona

Two and a half minutes.

That is the time it took for several armed men to storm a casino in northern Mexico, order the patrons to get out and torch the place with gasoline. Fifty-two people died in the blaze, mostly women and senior citizens who enjoyed playing bingo.

The daylight attack at the Casino Royale happened a week ago in Monterrey, Mexico. It was the worst attack on civilians since the massacre of 72 migrants last year.

...The United States shares responsibility for the thousands of people dead, injured and displaced in the five-year drug war that Mexican President Felipe Calderon has launched against the drug cartels. But we seem to ignore the connection between the high demand for illegal drugs and the violence associated with drug trafficking — not only in Mexico but in cities such as Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.

The connection is crystal clear: The U.S. represents a yearly $39 billion market for the drug cartels because an estimated 25 million Americans — 12 and older — consume some type of illegal drug, according to the Justice Department.

Keep stalking me and I’ll do more than complain to the moderators on this site.
I'm not stalking you, I'm confronting you and demanding a retraction of your slanderous accusations. It's easily seen through your posting history that you habitually throw about unsubstantiated slurs about others. I'm not going to ignore your doing the same to me.

Or don’t you understand that you are breaking the law idiot?

You preach to me on the law when you've slandered me by calling me a "liberal dipshit"?!
Go away liberal.
And then you do it yet again!
My views on the issues, which you obviously brought up as some sort of litmus test, are conservative views else you would have commented that they were liberal views (See...see...I knew you were a liberal and this proves it! /RickB444).
It's plain that your accusation was false and you're not apologetic in the least. You continue your antics despite the evidence presented disproving your accusation.

Are you truly going to go this route simply because I called you out for a weaseling answer to a question?
Power doesn't accrue of its own accord.

I’m done proving your (sic) a fool.
I don't see you proving anything. I've proven that my views belie your implied impression.

I've shown you I'm not a liberal by your own criteria. You can retract your accusation and be seen as an honorable person, you can flat out refuse to retract your accusation and be seen as an indiscriminate slanderer or you can be confronted at every chance I get until you make a decision. The choice is yours.
If that gets me booted then so be it.
It will speak volumes about you.
