Anyone who has studied the sunspot cycle knows that the higher the sunspot count, the warmer the temperature on Earth. Does anyone remember the famous Maunder Minimum, when Earth went into a mini-Ice Age because the Sun had essentially very little sunspots between 1645 and 1715?
