(Reuters) - Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said on Wednesday she resented what she viewed as an attack on her integrity by former Vice President Dick Cheney in his just-published memoir.

Speaking in an interview with Reuters, Rice rejected Cheney's contention that she misled President George W. Bush about nuclear diplomacy with North Korea.

"If you have a link I would love to see it."

I don't have a link, I have ears. It made the national news (this was just before I quit watching ANY national news in sheer disgust after the Palin interviews). She made the statement not too very long after Colin Powell made his.

You really can't fathom why even a professional black woman who grew up in the South at a time of segregation would have some emotion over the first election of a black person to the presidency?

Sorry, but that dog don't hunt.

“Rice and Powell are Realists.”

Yeah, that is what I would call someone who voted for Obama !

NOT

If it made national news you would think I could have found it but I can’t.

I don't much care what you "can" or "cannot" find. I know what I heard. Believe it or not....your choice.

If she had said she voted for Obama every lefty sits out there would be trumpeting it. I think you mistook her praise of him for an admission that she voted for him. I think you misheard.

"I think you mistook her praise of him for an admission that she voted for him. I think you misheard."

Nope. I've got a VERY good memory. It was obvious that Obama's "blackness" was, in her mind, his most important characteristic, not his competence or experience (other than the "black experience", that is).

And a quick search shows that she has actively supported virtually everything he has done as president since his election.

The simple fact is that Rice sold out on the basis of race.

In his book Rumsfeld didn’t sound too impressed with her as Sec. of State either.

In your “quick search” did you find a link to her endorsement of Obama?

I have said she praised him and that she might even have voted for him, BUT she never said she would vote for him before the election nor has she said since then that she voted for him.

What you or I deduce may not be the reality. Unless she said it plain and straight all you are doing is speculating and while many lefty sites agree with you, none of them nor you have furnished any proof.

I believe Dick Cheney on this one.

Condoleeza Rice AND Colin Powell also just horrifically misrepresented and lied to the American public about the OBAMA START treaty with Russia.

It is extremely dangerous to America...putting us at severe risk of a pre-emptive nuclear attack...and giving Russia a veto over any missile defense we have or come up with.

Someday Bush's inept appointments of politically correct "national security" officers will be fully known and understood by America at large....but by then it will be too late.

I know what I heard. She was actively supporting him before the election. Since we have a secret ballot, it is impossible to know whether she actually pulled the lever once inside the booth. In my book, active verbal support of a politician is equivalent to voting for same.

Why are you so hot to defend someone who has proven themselves by their actions to be just another black race pimp??

LOL “In my book, active verbal support of a politician is equivalent to voting for same.”

But it is not the same as Rice saying she would or did vote for him which is what you originally said you heard her say.

Thank you for finally admitting what I have been saying all along...”you never heard her say she would or did vote for Obama”. I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt that you might have misheard, but you have now admitted you sort of made it up to fit your interpretation. Sad. We win with truth, not our interpretations.

When someone endorses a candidate, it is pretty certain that they are going to vote for him or her. But as I said, it is impossible to know with certainty.

Now how about answering MY question....why are you defending Rice's conduct??

Nice try! ;) Deflection won’t work. I have nothing to defend because I have been accurate in what I have said.
I have consistently pointed out that Rice did NOT say what you said she did. I can provide links to her statements (including video) before and after the election. She has never said she was going to or that she did vote for Obama. I can also provide links to lefty sites that would have been all over it if she had done as you say, instead they were disappointed that she had not endorsed him.
I have been consistent and accurate in my comments here. I am not the one misrepresenting things by adding my own opinion to her comments. That would be YOU and you admitted as much, so I think we are finished.
Have a nice weekend!
