Firstly, there is no such thing as "nonlethal" shotgun rounds. Rock salt or rubber rounds may still kill or cripple. Being in a situation which justifies shooting means that you should be in a situation which justifies deadly force.
Secondly, in a riot situation, you may need every round to get out in one piece.
A BB gun can kill a person but, you guys and your dramatics... Sometimes it’s NOT all out war.
Sometimes it’s a bunch of unarmed kids or a dance mob and you freak out.
