Kel Tec doesn’t have a top flight reputation for reliability (although it’s better than a lot of firearm companies), but that shotgun really grabs me. If it turns out to be dependable and not hideously expensive I’ll probably buy one. Kel Tec deserves credit for making interesting guns—some nice small pistols, pistol caliber carbines, and the 30 round .22 Magnum pistol come to mind and especially their new shotgun.

The KelTec Sub 2000 in 9mm or 49 &W make nice concealable options. They fold up to 16 inches yet use extra capacity mags like the Glock 33 rounders. Inside fifty yards they are deadly accurate and very reliable. I reccommend a Glock 17 or 22 to accompany the KelTec carbines. ... And lots of magazines. There are good ones coming in from South Korea (KCI) that can be loaded to within two of max and be stored for months on end. I carried a 9mm with Glock 22 conversion to 9mm in my moho for years. Every time I took out a 33 round mag and emptied it, it ran through the ammo without a hitch.

If you order you may be waiting awhile for that new shotgun. I am still waiting for my order to fill at Impact on the Keltec PMR 30, the new .22 mag. In Oct it will one year since I ordered it. I think I’m now up to #18 out of 280 on the backorder list.
