Well here’s an analogy.
Say I’m driving my beautiful restored caddy to the store. Picking up some milk and bread.
I come back from the store and find that some garbage truck backed into it, squashed it and drove away.
What do I do now? Is it right for me to force open the trunk, grab my golf clubs and smash the car parked in front of me? No.
This is what abortion in the case of incest or rape does, it kills a child for something that someone else has done. It doesn’t do anything about the rapist, and in many cases, hides the evidence of the rapist.
If the unborn are truly persons than the circumstances surrounding their conception are irrelevant. Those conceived in rape or incest have the same rights as anyone else.
I guess I would have to be forced into a situation where my own daughter was impregnated as a result of rape to make the final judgement but, at this point, I wouldn’t force her to carry that child. it would be the same as being raped again and again, psychologically.
