The candidates should cancel the debate and just issue a joint statement of the Republican position on the economy, that repealing Obamacare and Dodd/Frank, cutting federal spending and liberating the private sector from excessive government fees, taxes and regulations is the only way to create jobs and prosperity in America. They should also note that there won’t be any recovery as long as Obama and his minions remain in office.

this is a pretty bush-league move to use a phrase, but the good news is that it affects MSNBC and Politico and I could care less about them. The GOP should just take this opportunity to reschedule the event for October and find different moderators.

Or the candidates could sort of copy Rush and air Obama live during their debate and offere a running commentary. That’d be cool.
