No there wasn’t. In fact, most of us thought that was a setup to trap Palin into announcing before she was ready, trying to force her hand. If they had succeeded in hyping her supporters to the max, and then she didn’t announce, it would have been pretty bad. She set it straight pretty quick. No flames from us. No way.
Exactly. I remember a lot of us discussing it and do not remember a single flame over it on any thread. I remember people crying wolf that she was abandoning her supporters and that it would be ‘the ultimate betrayal’ ect, but I do not remember a single person getting flamed. If it happened, then I missed it and I posted a lot on those threads.
