ABC News Sheila Marikar and Shushannah Walshe report:
Sarah Palin has not canceled her keynote speech for the Tea Party of Americas Saturday rally in Indianola, Iowa, according to the events organizers.
Ken Crow, the founder of the Tea Party of America, told ABC News this morning that he hung up with [Palin’s] people five minutes ago and shell be here on Saturday.
Gov. Palin is a lady of her word and impeccably honest, he added. He admitted that the organizations encountered a couple of errors in planning the Sept. 3 rally.
Im naive when it comes to politics and what you are supposed to say to and not say and my crew and I are rookies at this sort of thing, he said. We made mistakes and now we are fixing them. Its all good.
Multiple media outlets reported this morning that Palin had backed out of the Restoring America event, but still planned to be in Iowa on Saturday.
Looking at some of the comments on this thread, it appears that PDS'ers have jumped the gun...again.
So now it is a KEYNOTE speech? The other day she was announcing something BIG. So after her keynote speech then what? Another October surprise Palin announcement thread. Then when that does not happen what? All’s you people do is run around this forum and call everybody else RINO’s and those that tried to tell you weeks ago she was giving a keynote speech PDSer names. Get a grip and get some fresh air I do not think Palin is running.
