I don’t see how even Sarah could say it any better than this guy. I was all for her getting in the race, but we have a candidate in Rick Perry that speaks for me. If anything, I think she should come out strong for him as she said she would if a candidate who articulated conservative principles were to run.

I like them both as well. What would REALLY thrill me to no end [and make make all the liberal heads explode to boot] would be a Perry/Palin ticket!

Palin is better. She was always my first choice. But I've come to the conclusion Perry is a safer bet than Palin at winning the White House. Right now I want as safe a bet as I can get while still having a conservative.

Perry is a conservative. I don't care what the critics here in FR say. Is he as good as Palin on ALL the issues? No.

But he IS as good as Palin on MOST of the issues, especially the big ones, like life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, the defense of America and the defense of the US Constitution.

We need all that right now. We need that very badly.

In my opinion Palin'12 would be a re-run of Goldwater'64, while Palin'20, after she serves 8 years as Secretary of Energy, will be a re-run of Reagan'84.

That's just my opinion, but I'm sticking to it, at least until Palin decides to run, at which point I will re-evaluate my position.

But I don't think she's going to run and I hope she doesn't run.

I agree that she should endorse Perry. And you're right, she did promise to do so in a general way. Unless she believes the mindless chatter of the Perry critics here in FR (who mindlessly compare Perry to Romney and Bush) then she does owe us that promise.
