I would like to have 3 or 4 laying hens on my property. They eat the bugs, fertilyze the soil, and in return you get fresh eggs.
The birds wouldn’t take up much room and would be no more trouble to care for than a couple of dogs.
Nothing taste better than farm fresh eggs. Just don’t get a rooster. Those idiots start to crow BEFORE the sun comes up....
Those Chickens dig more holes than dogs do ... Ducks don’t dig, they eat bugs and weeds they just don’t lay as many eggs and if your Ducks get out of your yard you don’t have to catch each one individually ... just bang a feed pan or herd them ...
Chickens are much better suited for the Chicken Coop ... Ducks make great walking Lawn Decorations .... and they don’t crow in the morning
