So were the roosters “you got rid of” farm fresh delicious?(attempting a “tongue and cheek funny”)
Not sure, I traded them and a bunch of hens for a female Royal Palm turkey. We kept the rooster that ruled the henhouse until it attacked my husband one time too often from behind and he chopped its head off...then no roosters anymore...my husband laughed insanely as he cut off it head...That was one mean rooster....I found an old steel shovel from an kids shovel and bucket and hung it outside of the coop. If he was in there, I took the shovel with me..got him once in the head real good and he left me alone most of the time...
