Sounds apocryphal to me. I'm not buying it. I wouldn't be shocked if Obama cheated and flew ahead to have the bus meet him, but I doubt he airlifted the stoopid bus.

If the busses were not airlifted they would never have arrived at the locations the same time as Obama, since, according to the article, he flew to each city on AF One. I am sure he did not sleep over at a Super 8 to wait for the busses to be driven the miles in between stops and catch up to him at each destination.

If he hadn't had the buses flown from stop to stop wouldn't he be incessantly reminding us about the four jobs he 'created' for the people needed to drive the buses from stop to stop?

That’s a big bus. I doubt even a C17 is tall enough to carry it. Then where do you land a heavy lifter in rural mid-America? You can’t drop that bad boy on a 5000 ft. general aviation airport.
This just doesn’t smell right.
