To: Paladins Prayer

I think that other tribes/nations have standards (percentage of blood) that must be met to be considered a member. I’m thinking that the Cherokee are drawing a line. Might seem unfair on the face of it, but if your great, great, grandad was half-cherokee, then your claim is pretty weak.

My great great great great grandmother was Cherokee. Does that count? Just fun to know though.

Actually, one of my great, great, grandmothers was Cherokee and another was Choctaw. And no, I'm not considered a member of either nation.

Many tribes have figured out...and rightly so IMO..that if they draw a line in the sand..at say "you must be 1/2 degree" Indian blood. Said tribe will cease to exist somewhere down the road.
