He will be president one day - no doubt about it, but will not run for VP, nor should he.

He's not going to get executive leadership in the senate. If he wants to be President, he needs to first serve as governor --or accept the VP nod he will surely be offered.

He's going to be Perry's pick and Marco Rubio be the next Vice President of the United States. In 8 years he'll still be under 50 and have the executive experience he needs to run for President.

We have a state rep. down here and he said the same thing that if Marco runs for Governor after his term as Senator the Presidency will be a much easier trip.

No chance he will accept VP.

4 years of going to heads of state funerals and playing the Pres.’s attack dog? Not a chance.

I don’t know why you think he will not be able to establish leadership credentials in the Senate, therefore I will not dispute that, but it doesn’t matter. It would be a plus, of course, but the lack of being a committee leader, etc., is not a show stopper - obviously.

In 8 years he will be shoo-in. Or 4, if it comes to that.
