I experienced white guilt over the “plight of persons of color” over a weekend in 1972.

I suppose people can play the "white guilt" card if they want, but it would be much smarter to just choke down the guilt and vote for candidates who can help us get out of this economic downturn.

Might be a black person, or an East Asian, or even a white woman from the Great White North ~ whatever.

Best to keep the "white guilt" to the family reunions where you can go apologize to your niece's third new husband ~ or maybe take her 6 chilluns, and his 3 out to a movie or something. I'm sure that'd get that out of your system (should there be any residual in there).
