AUSTIN - Gov. Rick Perry and Democratic challenger Bill White agree that while plans to build a mosque near Ground Zero have stirred controversy, they don't object to a local decision affirming the Islamic group's right to build it. A New York City planning commission voted this week to clear the way for a planned Islamic community center and mosque near the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Kinda makes ya wonder...!
Actions have consequences.
Because of Perry supporters like you, I am hoping I don’t have to make that decision. You people are not making more supporters. You’re alienating people like me, you have yet to make a decision. Not very smart.
It’s all good. All we have to do is hold our noses yet again.
Come to think of it, I have been holding my nose since forever. Reagan and Dole excepted.
Perry is the establishment pick, and for now, the darling of the msm. Once he he receives the expected, precluded, well planned nomination, the MSM will turn on him. They will expose everything we all already know, plus much more.
However, I doubt the MSM will expose his muslim friend, the billionaire. That would be too sensitive for them. Then again, they may leak it. This is not a chance we should be taking. I don’t I have the stomach to take yet another POTUS, from Texas, holding hands with some muslim billionaire.
do you have a source for that. Because there are many examples that against your unsourced quote.

You may or may not have ever made that connection but that's the way I see it. All of which changes nothing except to point out that muzzies are essentially attempting the same thing under cover of their religion. The catch is of course that fundamental islam coincidentally incorporates a governing philsophy; much like our own founding. None of which may be a news flash to you but I dunno.
So, here we are. A nation founded primarily on Christian principles weakened by decades of attacks from marxists, muzzies and their fellow travelers in the media, entertainment and marketing industries; aided and abetted by our own atheists in government. How many Believers are even aware of these attacks on our foundations? From discussions I've had with fellow Believers, not many seem to make the leap to recognize it is an attack on all fronts from many different groups that in its essence is nothing more than pure evil at the gates.
What's to be done? The question brings to mind a quote from a Jewish rabbi, Daniel Lapin:
"Those of us who venerate freedom, be we Jewish or Christian, be we religious or secularized, have no option but to pray for the health of Christianity in America. No other group possesses both the faith and the numbers sufficient to hold back the ever-encroaching, sometimes sinister, power of the state."Substitute anything you like for "the state" and I believe it would still apply. I guess what I'm saying is we're generally in agreement. </rant> ;^)
Problem is the “Locals” don’t want it but the Mayor and City Council does.
Thank you. Important to know.
Perry: “The citizens of New York City will decide the fate of this building.”
reconcile this Mr Perry!
“A majority of New Yorkers oppose plans to build a mosque and Muslim cultural center two blocks from Ground Zero, according to a Quinnipiac University Poll released Thursday.
Fifty-two percent of the respondents said they did not want the mosque to be built at all, 31 percent are in favor of it, and 17 percent are undecided.”

It’s just awful how tone deaf and out of touch Perry is.
The guy is a worse RINO than Romney.
