i remember the only two times I’ve passed through that esteemed town experience some pretty “audacious” and hardcore black aggression and that was...30+ years ago.

I don’t expect much out of the victims of this attack. Where they were attacked, Tower Grove Park, is a well known haven for the “alternative lifestyles”, if you gather my meaning.
I grew up on the southside of St. Louis, and it got much darker over the years. People fled to the outlying counties, but this only gave a temporary reprieve, since whereever there is an apartment complex, there will be Section 8 recipients. The only way to keep them out is to move into a subdivision that they can’t afford. And so it goes, with the areas that were once peaceful are now seeing alot more violent crimes being committed by the erstwhile city dwellers who venture out into the counties looking for easy prey.
One of these punks ever tries this on me and I’m going to be the Forty-Five Caliber King.
You know, what I think would be funny would be for some of these fools to choose a retired Special Forces type for their game. I wouldn’t wish any harm to the victim, but it would be sweet to hear of the attackers getting what they deserve. Especially if the first blow dazed the victim just enough for him to lose rational inhibitions while leaving his training intact.
Jerome Ersland fought back against his armed attackers and got life in prison for it. A sad state of affairs in this country. He should be given a parade and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, but instead he is rotting in a jail cell:
