Rick Perry's candidacy has attracted strong initial support from Republicans who identify themselves as supporters of the Tea Party movement. Perry leads by 21 percentage points over the closest contenders among this group, Mitt Romney and Michele Bachmann. Among Republicans who say they do not support the Tea Party movement, Romney and Perry are essentially tied
These results are based on an Aug. 17-21 Gallup poll, which showed Perry overtaking Romney as the front-runner for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination among all Republicans nationwide.

Exactly! Demrat-controlled GOP RINOs are desperate to replace Romney as their go to guy. Perry is it.
They desperately pretend that Palin and Bachmann are not in the room. Or, trollers here on FR yammer on about Palin’s many “negatives”. When I ask these posters to list them all I get back is silence.
Anyone who claims to be a Tea Partier and falls for Perry is either lying or was was never Tea Party material in the fist place.
A lot of truth there pardner.
Way past time to take the gloves off and out these trolls for who they are.
The Perry engineered fad, will go the way of all fads. I give you the hula hoop.
Just try to understand how they operate here and what they say. You'll soon learn a good many many of them are nothing more than slacker Liberaltarians masquerading as moderate Republicans. The rest really are Liberal RINO's also masquerading as moderate Republicans as well. The rest of us are conservatives working hard to stop the next level of socialism masquerading as a Republican Texas Governor.
I find this very hard to believe.
but what about Huntsman, Ron H., you left him off (LOL)
